PARA SA MAY SAKIT: Caritas for the quarantined

Movements may be restricted and limited as of the moment because of the surge of Covid cases in the country. This, however, did not stop Holy Cross College, from pursuing its Caritas mission.

On September 14, HCC launched a relief program for families in Sta. Ana who are currently in quarantine because of the virus.

As of September 14, the Pampanga Provincial Health Office recorded a total of 141 active Covid cases in the town. That day, there were 12 new cases.

The latest Caritas program “Caritas Para sa May Sakit” reached out to a number of households in Brgy. San Nicolas to provide Covid care kits and food packs. HCC will also be supporting other quarantining families from different barangays in the coming weeks.

The team made sure health and safety protocols are being observed.  HCC employees distributing relief goods limited their contact with the beneficiaries by leaving the relief packs by the gate.

In a Facebook post, the president thanked the donors and those who have helped the school since its Caritas programs kicked off in April: Caritas Pantry, Caritas on Wheels and Caritas Drive-Thru.
