What is Majorship Certification Program?
The Majorship Certificate Program is for licensed professional teachers (LPTs) who would like to widen their field of specialization. LPTs can do this by enrolling 24-26 credit units, taking major courses of their chosen area of concentration.
The Holy Cross College believes that the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education is in the best position to respond to the needs of professional teachers to further their concentrations.
HCC’s Teacher Education Programs have received government recognition from the Commission on Higher Education, which has permitted HCC to offer the Majorship Certification Program.
We offer the following courses for our Majorship Certification Program:
• Certificate in Teaching Science
• Certificate in Teaching Mathematics
• Certificate in Teaching English
• Certificate in Teaching Filipino
In just one year, you can finish this major and earn your extra specialization, at the comfort of your own home.
HCC’s Majorship Certification Program is offered through the digital modular mode of learning for two semesters (24-26 units).
If you’re looking for professional advancement, competitive credentials, and better employment opportunities as an educator, prepare the following:

• ORIGINAL COPY of Transcript of Records
• THREE PIECES 2×2 Picture (White background / with name tag)
Holy Cross College also offers Methods of Teaching. Professionals who are non-education degree holders and would like to enter the academe may opt to enroll in this program. Upon completion, they will be qualified to take the licensure examination for teachers.
HCC’s Methods of Teaching program is intended for graduates of any four-year baccalaureate degree program who would like to learn and understand the learning patterns of students or teach in junior or senior high school where a professional license is required.
