In September 2020, Holy Cross College premiered its block time TV program “Usapang Millennial”. It airs every Sunday at 7 PM on Pampanga-based cable television channel GNN TV 44.
The program was created to give the Holy Cross College students a platform and avenue to air their grievances, voice out their opinions and share their views on matters that involve the school, the Sta. Ana community, the province and even the nation as a whole. Along with the HCC radio program Radio Libertas, “Usapang Millennial” is proof that Holy Cross College lives by its core value, Libertas. The show allows HCC students, even employees, to exercise their freedom to speak out.
“Usapang Millennial” is hosted by Senior High School Filipino coordinator Mr. Ephraim Matias, Assistant Multimedia Department (MMD) Head Ms. Angelica Simpao and BS Development Communication student Ms. Regine Dela Rosa.
The show is co-produced by the MMD and BS Development Communication students of the Holy Cross College.
The show is divided into four segments.
- CommTalks, which tackles community and national issues.
- Sanduk ng Aling Pacing, which tackles local government policies in Sta. Ana and Pampanga.
- The School with a Heart, which gives updates on the activities of Holy Cross College.
- Alumni Spotlight, which features Holy Cross College alumni.
In July 2021, Usapang Millennial was renewed for a second season. In August 2021, Ms. Stephanie Lasig was introduced as a new host.
