Holy Cross College Library
LIBRARY SERVICES DIVISION
Even when classes are currently being held virtually on our HCC Heart Cloud, our academic facilities are still being well-maintained. The doors of our school library are open for Crucians–employees and students alike.
Our Services:
LIBRARY ORIENTATION PROGRAM
The Library Orientation program offers new students an introduction to the library’s resources and services. Generally, the program is conducted every first semester of the academic year.
COMPUTER AND INTERNET ACCESS
The HCC library is equipped with computer units with internet access. Visitors may use these units for free.
SUGGEST FOR PURCHASE
The library strongly welcomes and encourages input from its patrons concerning the collection. A suggestion for purchase procedure enables the patrons to request a particular item to be acquired by the library. It is the library’s intent that these purchases be used to help the facility develop collections that are in line with the interest and needs of the Holy Cross College community.
INTER-LIBRARY SERVICES
The library gives referral letters to students who would like to conduct their research in other libraries.
REFERENCE SERVICES
Patrons may seek the assistance of the librarians in finding relevant materials for their research needs. Librarians, on the other hand, give direct instructions and guidance on the use of reference sources and facilities of the library.
COMMUNITY EXTENSION SERVICES
Services to the community are extended through book donations to public high schools in need, sharing of staff expertise, and accommodation of researchers from other schools and communities.
