NYC’s mobile radio to visit the school with a heart

Radio Libertas, the first education radio station in the eastern of Pampanga, partners with the National Youth Commission’s (NYC) Mobile Radio Station Cyberspace League who is set to visit on July 21 for live radio programs on the campus.

NYC’s Cyberspace League head Rommel Ramos will feature the school with a heart and interview HCC President Atty. Dennis C. Pangan and campus journalist and BS Development Communication students Janeh Bulaon and Mark Justine Batuhan recently bagged 3rd place in Mobile Podcasting of National Campus Press Olympiad, the Philippines’ biggest online campus journalism tournament.

At 10:00 in the morning veteran journalist, Ramos, and Atty. Pangan will tackle education during the pandemic and academic freedom in HCC. The morning program will highlight Libertas as one of the core values of the school.

It will be followed by an afternoon radio program hosted by Assistant Multimedia Department Head Angelica Marie Simpao, and College Publication Editor-in-Chief, Aaron Sombillo and BS Development Communication student Regine Dela Rosa. They will discuss the importance of the cultural rebirth of Santa Ana and the significance of CASA-APU, a non-government organization that aims to preserve the town’s cultural heritage.

Allen Luis G. Dizon Jr. the Chairman of the Board and Founder of CASA-APU together with Architect Joseph Lideson Mallari CASA-APU’s Vice Chairman of the Board, Jonathan Musngi CASA-APU’s Corporate Treasurer, Dustine Nucum Biando Ka-MANA on Research and Development, and Dr. Elita Flor M. Umali, CASA-APU’s Consultant will join the afternoon radio program.
