HCC Heart Cloud launching, a success after 10k logins on its kick-off

Less hassle and easy access online services are now available for students, parents, and employees of Holy Cross College after the successful launching of HCC Heart Cloud last May 22.

The new virtual platform of the school seeks to cater to students’ and employees’ information needs without sacrificing their safety and health during community quarantine due to the pandemic.

Each student was given an account to check their report cards for the previous academic year. According to Mark Justine Batuhan at Development Communication student, getting grades was made easy through HCC Heart Cloud.

More than 10,000 logins and 2,000 PDF downloads were recorded for the first two days of the HCC Heart Cloud during the release of grades.

The Multimedia Department and Registrar’s office together with President Atty. Dennis C. Pangan fast-tracked the launching of the website due to the demands brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The technical committee is still working on its additional features to keep the HCC Heart Cloud running smoothly. Chief Ester M. Muldong of the Registrar’s office reminded students to keep their accounts privately.

To effectively implement an efficient communication system for HCC, e-library will also be added to the online platform together with the online balance checking and Learning Management System or LMS. LMS will be used for HCC’s Flexible Learning Approach or FLA to help students continue their study in the upcoming new normal mode of education.
