A total of 1, 558 qualified grantees from 2nd-year to 4th-year college students received their Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) refund last July 2-3.
Holy Cross College one of the CHED-recognized local college help learners enjoy free tuition, miscellaneous, and other school fees. Each student is granted a P 60,000 subsidy per academic year.
Thankful for CHED and HCC
Bachelor of Secondary Education student, Aldrin Maliwat said that without HCC and TES he would not be an incoming fourth-year student who is a step closer to being a future educator due to financial limitations.
Students like John Michael Fuertez who used to study in a Manila-based college opted to transfer to HCC due to pandemic. He said the school with a heart can provide affordable-quality education and could help him achieve his dreams as a future media practitioner. He is currently an incoming third-year Bachelor of Science in Development Communication student.
